Mengenal Kalsium Untuk Gigi


          Kalsium adalah mineral penting yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan tulang dan gigi kita. Setelah pertumbuhan tulang telah mencapai puncaknya, ini berarti tidak ada jalan lain, kecuali mencukupi kebutuhan kalsium sedini mungkin. Menurut National Institute of Health Consensus Development Conference Statement, Optimal Calcium Intake, jumlah asupan kalsium setiap golongan usia maupun jenis kelamin berbeda-beda.
1. Umur 0 - 1 tahun, kalsium 600 mg/hari.
2. Umur 1 - 5 tahun, kalsium 800 mg/hari.
3. Umur 6 - 10 tahun, kalsium 800 - 1200 mg/hari.
4. Umur 11 - 24 tahun, kalsium 1200 - 1500 mg/hari.
5. Umur 25 - 50 tahun, kalsium 1000 mg/hari.
6. Umur > 50 tahun, kalsium 1000 - 1500 mg/hari
